Take our Black Myth: Wukong system requirements PC benchmark test to answer the question… Can I run Black Myth: Wukong?
The Black Myth: Wukong system requirements surprisingly mimic those of every other new triple-A game release we’ve seen recently. It’s still the now-defunct Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 as a barrier to entry alongside some dated CPUs in the Ryzen 5 1600 and Intel Core i5 8400. You’ll need 16GB of RAM, however, which could cause problems for older gaming PCs and laptops.
Elsewhere, the Black Myth: Wukong recommended specs don’t throw up any major surprises, with only an Nvidia RTX 2060 or AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT called for. The RAM requirement sticks to 16GB too, and the CPU requirements only creep up marginally.
During our time using the Black Myth: Wukong benchmark, we found both the RTX 4070 and RTX 4070 Super to be adequate when using Cinematic settings with ray tracing maxed out. The RTX 4070 managed 58fps at 2,560 x 1,440 and looked fantastic. Nvidia’s RTX 4070 Super achieved 25fps at 4K, but with no DLSS or frame generation.
The Black Myth: Wukong download size comes in at an astonishing 130GB, with an SSD only deemed a requirement at the recommended settings tier. However, we’d suggest using one of the best SSDs for gaming at all times for faster loading and quicker downloads. Or just check the latest, best deals on SSDs.
