Black Ops 6 equipment - all new and confirmed items

You’ll have to know every bit of your kit inside and out if you want to succeed, so here’s every piece of Black Ops 6 equipment you can use.

What is Black Ops 6 equipment? While your primary method of combat in Call of Duty games will always be the gun you wield, the equipment in your back pocket shouldn’t be overlooked. Grenades, remote-controlled cars, and even throwing knives can play their part on the battlefield. Knowing what to use in each situation can be the key to success.

While the Black Ops 6 release date is still far on the horizon, we got a sneak peek into some new equipment on offer, both in the campaign and the multiplayer game. Long-time fans may recognize some returning gadgets and should be excited by the prospect of new ways of dispatching their enemies and building up their Black Ops 6 prestige level.

All Black Ops 6 equipment

Here is every piece of Black Ops 6 equipment confirmed so far:

Black Ops 6 equipment: Lethal

Lethal equipment

Frag Grenade

The bread and butter of lethal equipment, the cookable Frag Grenade is back in Black Ops 6. If an enemy throws one at you, make sure you send it back – it’s only polite.

Sticky Grenade

They say in FPS games you should find what sticks and stick to it… unless it’s a small, timed explosive. The Sticky Grenade is handy as it can attach to your surroundings, ensuring that it doesn’t bounce away from its intended destination.

Thermo Grenade

Burn, baby, burn. We’re not sure about Disco Inferno, but you can always rely on a thermo to turn up the heat. This ‘nade creates a big ol’ fuel-air cloud that combusts after a short time.

Blast Trap

The Blast Trap is very similar to a claymore in the sense that it detonates in proximity to enemies. Likewise, enemies can bypass it if they’re careful, though in this case it requires slowly creeping past. Considering BO6’s breakneck pace, though, you’re probably best off trying to avoid tight corridors.

Combat Axe

Pretty self-explanatory. Get an axe, throw the axe. The Combat Axe also bounces off of surfaces, so bonus points if you hit ’em with a bounce back.

Black Ops 6 equipment: Tactical

Tactical equipment

Concussion Grenade

If you’re having an off day, pick up the Concussion Grenade. Landing one slows the victim’s movement and aiming long enough for you to get your crosshair in place.

Flashbang Grenade

If concussion ‘nades aren’t your bag, then the noble Flashbang Grenade is your best friend. These grenades blind those unfortunate enough to be in its line of sight when it goes off, pretty much completely removing any way for enemies to fight back. Just don’t flash yourself…

Stim Shot

If you somehow manage to not get lasered in 0.2 seconds then the Stim Shot can help you quickly reengage by healing you up and refreshing your tactical sprint. It’s a two-for-one deal.

Prox Alarm

The Prox Alarm offers up not one but two sticky alarms that ring out and flash aggressively when an enemy gets close. What’s more, tripped alarms show up on allied minimaps, so everyone knows where to make a beeline.

Decoy Grenade

If being an absolute menace is your forte, give the Decoy Grenade a go. This unassuming device simulates footsteps and gunfire sounds, disorienting enemies. Oh, and it sticks to surfaces, so you can simulate death from above if you want to tweak out those 7.1 surround sound setups.

Black Ops 6 equipment: Field upgrades

Field upgrades

Assault Pack

Assault Pack drops a box of ammo and equipment, giving your team a helpful little mid-round resupply. If you’re good at not dying, this is one for you.

Trophy System

The Trophy System is the perfect antidote for those pesky projectiles, as it dutifully destroys them mid-air. Thanks, Trophy System.

Neurogas

Deploying a Neurogas trap is rather dastardly, seeing as the neurotoxic gas cloud it emits causes severe hallucinations, and disorienting and damaging victims caught in it.

Acoustic Amp

If you love locking into sound cues, then Acoustic Amp is made for you. This handy piece of Black Ops 6 equipment makes enemy footsteps louder, helping you scout out their exact position.

Sleeper Agent

Perhaps our favorite piece of equipment in BO6, Sleeper Agent lets you disguise yourself as an enemy teammate, appearing as them for a short duration. What’s more, picking up eliminations will extend its duration. It’s not perfect, though, as getting shot or picked up by recon equipment – a UAV or Prox Alarm, for example – will reveal you.

Black Ops 6 equipment: Tranquilizer Trap

Tranquilizer Trap

What looks from the video like a small deployable trap with a proximity sensor. It releases a cloud of gas when triggered by an enemy, which looks to incapacitate foes for an indeterminate amount of time.

Black Ops 6 equipment: Adrenaline Stim

Adrenaline Stim

A small self-administered injection that increases health regeneration and movement speed for a short period.

Black Ops 6 equipment: Homing Knife

Homing Knife

From the preview footage, the Homing Knife looks like a throwable piece of equipment that not only damages enemies when it lands but explodes shortly thereafter. From the name, we assume this also seeks foes out to some extent.

Black Ops 6 equipment: Disruptor in action

Disruptor

Much like the Shock Stick from Warzone, the Disruptor appears to pump electricity into its target, rendering them unable to move. The current running through their body also causes them to involuntarily pull the trigger on their currently held weapon.

That’s every bit of equipment we know of in Black Ops 6. We’ll update the full list once we know exactly what you can use in the new FPS game. For now, take a look at the Black Ops 6 system requirements so you can get your rig ready, and read up on how to get into the Black Ops 6 beta so you can get in on the action early.
