Genshin Impact Emilie banner release date
Emilie is coming to the Genshin Impact 4.8 update on the second set of banners, set to go live on Tuesday, August 6, 2024.
Emilie abilities
Normal attack – Shadow-Hunting Spear
- Normal attack: Performs up to four consecutive spear strikes
- Charged attack: Consumes a certain amount of stamina to perform an upward slash.
- Plunging attack: Plunges from mid-air to strike the ground below, damaging enemies along the path and dealing AoE damage on impact.
Elemental skill – Fragrance Extraction
Creates a Lumidouce Case that deals AoE Dendro damage.
Lumidouce Case:
- Fires Puffs of Puredew at nearby enemies at intervals, dealing Dendro damage.
- When nearby enemies are affected by Burning, they give off Scents at intervals. The Lumidouce Case collects nearby Scents and levels up after gathering two of them, and then fires one extra Puff of Puredew when firing, while the damage dealt by the above attack also increases.
- One Lumidouce Case created by Emilie can exist at one time. The case starts at level 1 and can go up to level 2.
Arkhe: Pneuma:
- At intervals, after Emilie creates a Lumidouce Case this way, a Spiritbreath Thorn descends in front of her and pierces the enemy, dealing Pneuma-aligned Dendro damage.
Elemental burst – Aromatic Explication
Emilie converts fragrances into Dendro energy, creating a level 3 Lumidouce Case and destroying existing cases. While it exists, the level 3 Lumidouce Case doesn’t gather nearby scents, but it continuously causes Scented Dew to descend, attacking enemies within range and dealing Dendro damage. During this time, one drop of Scented Dew descends every 0.3 seconds, and one enemy can become the target every 0.7 seconds.
When the duration ends, a level 1 Case is created, if a Case that had already had Scents was destroyed when Aromatic Explication was used, the newly created Case inherits the precious Scents and level of the destroyed case.
While Aromatic Explication is active, the Elemental Skill, Fragrance Extraction will not create a Case.
Emilie passive talents
- Unknown: Emilie deals 36% increased damage against Burning enemies, but 90% decreased damage against Quickened ones.
- Lingering Fragrance: Each time it collects two Scents, the level 2 Case consumes Scents and releases Cleardew Cologne that deals AoE Dendro damage equal to 500% to Emilie’s attack to enemies. This damage is not considered Elemental Skill damage.
- Rectification: When the Lumidouce Case created by Emilie is on the field, all party members gain 85% Pyro resistance against Burning damage.
Emilie constellations
- Light Fragrance Leaching: Increases the damage dealt by Fragrance Extraction and her passive talent Cleardew Cologne, Lingering Fragrance, by 10%. The latter requires unlocking said Passive Talent first. When nearby party members trigger the Burning reaction on enemies and deal Dendro damage to Burning enemies, they will generate an additional Scent. This effect can be triggered every 2.9 seconds.
- Lakelight Top Note: When the Case created by Emilie collects Scents, Emilie gains one special blend stack, increasing her attack by 18% for ten seconds. Max two stacks.
- Exquisite Essence: Increases the level of Fragrance Extraction by three. Maximum upgrade level is 15.
- Lumidouce Heart: Aromatic Explication’s duration is increased by two seconds. The interval between enemies being selected as the target for Scented Dew is decreased by 0.3 seconds.
- Puredew Aroma: Increases the level of Aromatic Explication by three. Maximum upgrade level is 15.
- Marcotte Trace: When using Fragrance Extraction or Aromatic Explication, Emilie gains Abiding Fragrance for five seconds. While this is active, after Emilie uses Normal or Charged attacks, she generates 1 Scent and her Normal and Charged attack damage is converted into Dendro damage that cannot be overridden, and the damage dealt is increased by 250% of Emilie’s attack. Abiding Fragrance’s effects are cancelled after four Scents are created, or after the duration expires. Abiding Fragrance can be triggered once every 12 seconds.
