What are the best Marvel Snap decks? With every new season of Marvel Snap, new cards can always be expected to shake up the meta. Add to that new modes, limited-time events, and featured locations, and it’s hard to keep track of the best decks to use from one day to the next.

Best Marvel Snap decks
For the most part, the best meta decks in Marvel Snap require you to have completed Series 3 and have a significant chunk of Series 4 and Series 5 cards. This is because your options for different deck archetypes open up enormously once you reach this stage, but there are usually one or two alternatives you can use instead for a similar result.

Symbiote Spider-Man is not only a new card this season, but it also brings with it a new mechanic: activate. Instead of getting the effect of this card’s text when you play the card, you instead activate it on the next turn, meaning you have to think ahead. That’s why this deck with Black Panther is brilliant. Play Symbiote Spider-Man on its own location on turn four, drop Black Panther and Activate on turn five, and Arnim Zola on turn six to dominate the board. If you don’t draw the right hand, you’ve still got Wong, White Tiger, Odin, and others as a back-up option.

Hellcow is the latest card to have been given the new Activate mechanic, meaning you activate the card’s text the turn after playing it. This is actually incredible for Hellcow, as the action discards two cards from your hand. Usually in a deck with Hela, this meant that the action could sometimes discard Hela herself, often ruining your set up.
Now, you have a bit more control and freedom over using Hellcow if Hela is already in your hand, as you can use it in turn 5, use Hela in turn 6, then discard and reclaim two other cards at the end of the round. With the deck above, this hopefully leaves a couple of those high-power cards to come back and win you the game.

This season’s new Young Avengers cards all have great synergy, and you can make a pretty decent deck with Kate Bishop, Wicca, Marvel Boy, and Speed if you so wish. You’re not going to have all the cards in this deck right away, but there are plenty of one and two-cost cards that could swap in easily. The idea of this card is to play multiple cards as much as possible, and increase the value of those cards as you go.

Loki isn’t a card we’ve listed anywhere else on this list and is an incredibly hard card to play well, but with the right deck, it can be amazing. Combining Loki with Arishem following the new changes makes for a solid deck. We found a similar deck to this on Marvel Snap Zone but with Shang-Chi and Enchantress, who we like to avoid here as much as possible. We must say either option is a solid choice – you just won’t want to use these decks in Conquest mode.
Despite being a three-cost card, you don’t really want to play Loki too early unless you’re set up well. Instead, you want to make sure that you’ve made the most of your hand and that The Collector is hopefully in play. Don’t play Loki at all if your hand is good. In fact, if you can wait until you’ve played Blob or Arishem with Wiccan’s help, then play Loki at the end of the game to buff The Collector, you should be in a pretty good position.

Your biggest problems will be Shang-Chi and Enchantress, but if you can avoid these cards, you’re going to win plenty of games. What’s more, there are multiple win routers, even if you’re left with playing a simple Ironheart, Wong, White Tiger, Odin combination at one location, you could still take the win. Your early game cards are in there to boost your win rate even higher, and dropping Magik instead of Ironheart allows you to either play Ironheart after Wong, or Black Panther and White Tiger together. The same goes for Psylocke – though only play her in round two if Wong is already in your hand.

We’ve been utterly destroyed by this deck or similar quite a few times recently, so here it is, the Ultron Patriot. The base combo of cards here has been in the meta for a long time, and essentially your goal is just to increase the power of multiple cards multiple times, devastating your opponent in the final few turns.

This is a classic, but with Vulture being a great card, it never gets old. What’s more, since it’s so old, it doesn’t get used very much any more, and people won’t expect to see it in the current meta. There are a lot of options here, so you shouldn’t be too restricted by an unlucky draw – just remember to prepare for Heimdall on the last turn. If you don’t draw it, the low cost of your other cards leaves you with other options.

Destroy decks seem to be among the most resilient Marvel Snap decks, appearing frequently regardless of the current meta. With the Deadpool season now live, we’re seeing even more of a surge in the destroy meta given Deadpool’s own power.

The idea behind this deck is getting something to a large body before feeding it to either Arnim Zola or Taskmaster. For example, you can build up Kitty Pryde, put her through Shuri, and then have Taskmaster copy her. You can then put Vision through Shuri and move him to an empty position before Arniming him. By moving Wong through Black Panther and Arnim twice, and then moving Odin onto Arnim when you’re in limbo, you can make a giant Black Panther through Wong and Shuri and then Taskmastering him. Hope exists to have extra flexibility and add spare power, but if she’s in the same place as a card you want to duplicate, she can prove troublesome, so be careful.
Best Marvel Snap beginner decks
These beginner Marvel Snap decks exclusively use cards that you start the game with and those in Pool 1, which is from collection levels 18 – 214 in the card game. There are many cards to choose from with these parameters. If there are any you’re missing in your chosen deck list, you’re early enough in the game that replacing a few of them won’t ruin the deck’s playstyle too much.
